Spa Rules and Regulations

• By using Healing Touch Iyashi services, you agree to follow these rules and regulations. Violation of these rules and regulations can lead to the removal from this spa and/or the cancellation of your membership without refund.

• We reserve the right to modify these rules and regulations without notice.

• Your comfort and safety is our priority during any service we provide. If at any time you feel uncomfortable, please tell the therapist or esthetician that you would like to end the service immediately. Likewise, if the therapist or esthetician feels uncomfortable, they reserve the right to stop the service as well. We value our customers and want to provide them with a safe and relaxing service.

Spa Etiquette

• To ensure that all clients have a pleasing experience, please keep noise to a minimum and tum off or silence your cellular devices when entering the spa.

• Clients are prohibited from conducting their own business activities within our spa. There will be no soliciting of other clients or staff while on spa premises.

• We reserve the right to remove any client from our premises and/or revoke the membership of any member who fails to follow these rules and regulations or for any reasons of nuisance, disturbance, or fraud. Refunds will not be provided in any of these instances.

Health and Safety

• Clients should inform their therapists and possibly refrain from receiving services if they have been told to by a medical professional, or if they have any open cuts, abrasions, sores, infections or if they have any condition that poses a threat to their health/safety or the health/safety of others.

• It is the client's responsibility to consult with their medical professional to determine if they have any of the above conditions or any other medical condition and whether their condition poses a threat to anyone's health/safety.

• We reserve the right to deny entry or services to any client over concerns for health/safety risks.

• Clients with certain health conditions such as high blood pressure, heart conditions, who are currently pregnant or have any other medical conditions that may be relevant must inform the front desk when you arrive. This will help to ensure your safety while you receive the correct treatment.

Minors Receiving Services

• We do not provide any of our services to children under the age of 5 years old.

• For children between the ages of 5 and 16, we require them to come with a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must be in the same service room with the child throughout their service. The parent must fill out their child's massage intake form and provide their signature at the bottom of the form.

• Healing Touch Iyashi cannot be held responsible for minors left unattended in the Spa.

• Neither what we have listed above nor any Spa Rule or Regulation will supersede any state or local regulations regarding the provision of massage and aesthetic services.

Cancellation Policy

• Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the spa's scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. No shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.

• Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service.

• When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Additionally, many times our staff will be functioning in an "on call" status and can have traveled to the spa specifically for your service. For these reasons we are obligated to compensate our staff for their time as well as make up for the lost revenue. Thank you for your understanding!

Policy on Nicotine, other Drug Usage, and Alcohol

• The use of tobacco and/or other nicotine products is not permitted in our premises. Marijuana consumption in any form is also prohibited on our premises.

• Alcohol beverages and/or illegal drugs are not permitted within our property. If anyone is believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we reserve the right to deny entry and/or remove that person from the spa and contact our local authorities.

Your valuables and Personal Items

• Please keep your personal items and valuables with you while inside our facilities. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Payments

• We accept cash, Healing Touch Iyashi issued gift cards, and Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit and debit. Personal checks are not accepted. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

• Parties of 4 or more people may be required to place a credit card on file to reserve their requested slots and may be asked to leave a deposit for their group appointment.

• We charge a 3.5% processing fee with every service/product when you pay with a credit/debit card.

When Can My Therapist Refuse Service?

• All therapists and estheticians reserve the right to refuse services in any of the following circumstances, in which case there will be no refund issued. The list below is subject to change and is only partial:

- The client is abusive (physically or verbally), or under the influence of alcohol and/or any illegal substance.

- The client exhibits language or behavior that is deemed as an immediate or potential threat to the safety of the client, service provider, or others around them.

- The client initiates any sort of sexual language, behavior, or misconduct.

- The client has had a surgery within the past 8 weeks of their scheduled massage. We reserve the right to require a note issued from the client's doctor approving the massage if this is the case.

- The client shares any health or other information that the therapist or esthetician deems to be unsafe for the client to receive a massage

- The client is within their first 20 weeks of pregnancy.

• We treat all people equally and with respect. We do not discriminate based off of race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, disability, political affiliation, marital status, age, etc.
